Communication contest between 5 communes in Quang Binh on the topic "Prevention of risk of being trafficked"

The United Nations Office for the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking (UNACT), the Center for Study and Applied Sciences on Gender - Family - Women and Adolescents (CSAGA) conducted a campaign to prevent human trafficking in five communes: Trung Trach, Thanh Trach, Hoan Trach, Duc Trach and Nam Trach in Quang Binh province in July-August, 2017. The campaign received the support of many people in Quang Binh. In order to continue and spread knowledge on preventing the risk of being trafficked to people, we organized a communication contest between 5 communes on the subject of "Prevention of the risk of being trafficked". This is a contest between 5 Trung Trach, Thanh Trach, Hoan Trach, Duc Trach and Nam Trach communes so that contestants can express their knowledge and talents on anti-trafficking and direct communication to the community to help overcome the situation of fraud, turning workers into victims of trafficking while working in and outside the country.

The contest aims to increase awareness among local officials and people about trafficking in persons, the risks of being trafficked by domestic and foreign workers, preventive measures and relevant laws. human trafficking, victims' rights and victim assistance services, as well as those who need migrant workers inside and outside the country.

The contest is also a forum for local officials and local people to exchange and discuss trafficking in persons who are at risk of falling victim to unsafe working.
