This portfolio contains various information and guidelines on child trafficking in Asia. The policy and programme guide "Children as active citizens" regards children as active citizens, defines main government responsibilities for children's rights and provides a guidance on practice of children's rights in the South Asian society (information, justice, media etc.). The report "Are you listening?" by the Mekong Youth Forum on Human Trafficking summarizes the activities and objectives of the conference, gives analysis of the situation and the recommendations on how to combat human trafficking. Furthermore the portfolio contains the short manuals "Children's participation in decision making: Why do it, when do it, how do it", "Minimum standarts for consulting with children" and the brochure "Children as active citizens - Commitments and obligations for children's civil rights and civic engagement in East Asia and the Pacific". Furthermore it contains several factsheets about human trafficking in general, in specific countries, strategies of law enforcement, introductions about organizations working in this field and stories of individual victims.
