1. Support organization.

CSAGA is a Vietnamese non-profit organization. CSAGA was created to promote the realization of the rights of women and girls affected by discrimination and violence, including women and girls usinh creative approaches.

CSAGA is pleased to announce the Call for Local Initiatives on ending Stigma, Discrimination and Violence Against LGBT People in Viet Nam on the 28th Anniversary of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transgender (IDAHOT).

2. Local initiatives should focus on two themes:

2.1  Promote the understanding of discrimination against LGBTQ people in the workplace, school and family.

2.2 Strengthen the actions of LGBTQ people to eliminate stigma, discrimination and violence based on sexual orientation and gender expression in schools, workplaces and families.

3. Timeframe for initiatives

Open day for proposal submission: 04/05/2018

Answer on proposal: 5 days after proposal recieving day.

Deadline for proposal submission: 20/5/2018

All project activities must be completed by June 10, The call does not consider extension of the project after this period.

4. Appicant.

LGBTQ groups, individuals across the country. 

5. Budget

The budget for each initiative is not over 20,000,000 VND. 

6. Supporting procedure

All proposals will be reviewed by CSAGA, in order to select proposals that best fit the theme and funding source.

Process:

The specific rights and obligations of the group / individual receiving support will be specified in the contract signed by the support group representative & CSAGA.

7. Submiting procedure

All application forms must be filled out in accordance with CSAGA regulations and sent to Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Hoa at hoabui@csaga.org.vn.
