Activities

• Studying: CSAGA focuses on the issues of Gender, Family and Children.

• Training: CSAGA has a number of trainers who possess new training methodology and experiences. These staff members have contributed to training courses for projects of other organizations, both nationally and internationally.

• Projects: CSAGA, along with national and international organizations, has implemented projects on issues related to women and children such as: gender inequality, gender-based violence, and the right of participation of children.

• Communicating: So far, CSAGA has nine automatic information lines in 21 cities and provinces nationally, with various communication contents, drawing 5000 listeners each day. CSAGA has been widening communication throughout the nation. CSAGA has also participated in communication activities on newspapers, television, the VOV and other local voices.

• Counselling: CSAGA has ten years of experiences in face – to – face counseling and through the hot line. Counselors of CSAGA were trained by experienced professionals from around the world.

• Holding events: CSAGA organizes workshops, seminars and competitions not only for case-studying, but also to encourage effective communication, counseling, and intervention.

• Intervention activities: Intervention activities are implemented through the projects and then integrated into other activities such as: counseling, communication, events and training. Examples of intervention activities include: improving community awareness on gender and gender equality; expressing emotions and preventing stress; preventing gender-based violence and violence against children; preventing sexual abuse; providing knowledge on reproductive health and safe sex; and preventing human trafficking over the borders in cooperation with authorities, agencies, and other organizations with the same goals.

CSAGA has become a strong unit in Viet Nam and Asia, studying applied sciences in gender and children in the context of the Vietnamese family and society in development.
